Management of Neonate Seminar

I have a special interest in paediatrics care and wanted to further develop skills/confidence. I graduated in 2025 so this seminar allowed me to ask questions and gain relationships with others locally and far in this specialisation. It also helped recap examination skills with new helpful tips added. The small group setting was really helpful when practicing skills as it allowed for questions and advice when watching you. This made me feel confident I wouldn’t take away a bad habit as I could be corrected on technique first hand. Plenty questions and prompts were asked by Mike to ensure everyone was following. He also stopped to answer questions no matter where they popped up and reinforced this with the group to not single out anyone for needing more. The level was ideal for me as I had some knowledge of paeds examination and treatment but it also expanded in a good way so that I didn’t feel lost or that it was easy.
