Course: Peds in Motion 1 Seminar
I took this class to help children reach and achieve their milestones, along the lines of rolling over, crawling, and of course walking.
The main takeaways from this class are that you can use the primitive reflexes that a child is born with, in order to get them to roll over, crawl, and eventually walk. I also learned that there are five diaphragms and how to treat them and how to activate a baby’s ability to move their tongue.
Today I saw a lot of babies and I have already implemented everything into my practice. I had one baby who was rolling left to right in from the supine position to the prone position, and I used what I got from Dr. Marinus’ class, and I was able to stimulate his Galant reflex, and the baby was able to roll from right to left.
There was another baby. I worked on today who had trouble moving his tongue after a tongue tie release and being able to nurse properly and I did exactly what Dr. Marinus said to us about stimulating and adjusting his high bone and addition to the hard palate, and before I knew it, this baby was moving her tongue like a frog going after flies!
This work that was what today complements the work that I learned in the peak potential courses, it’s another tool to get to where the baby should be and come and meet their milestones on time!
Yes, I would definitely recommend this class to others!
